Yankee Cats Sungani Chikondi
Seit seiner Geburt war ich in Chiko verliebt. Ich hatte mir zwar fest vorgenommen, vernünftig zu bleiben und ihn nicht zu behalten, aber wie man sieht, war ich damit nicht erfolgreich ;-) Der Name Sungani Chikondi ist seinem Urahnen Garibaldi gewidmet, der fast auf den Tag genau 25 Jahre vor ihm geboren wurde. Und auch die weitere Geschichte wiederholt sich, wie Garibaldi oder auch Calibear, war Chiko bereits versprochen, und erst kurz vor dem geplanten Auszug hat sich ergeben, dass er doch bei mir bleibt.
Chiko hat nicht nur meine Traumfarbe Shaded, die ich von seinen Eltern nicht erwartet habe, sondern hat sich auch noch zu einem umwerfend schönen Kater entwickelt, mit perfektem Typ und riesigen Pinseln auf den Ohren. Auch charakterlich ist er ein großer Schmuser geworden.
Für meine Zucht habe ich eigentlich keine Verwendung für Chiko, aber das ist mir egal. Vielleicht ergibt sich irgendwann noch etwas – und wenn nicht, bleibt er einfach zum Liebhaben hier, genau wie einige andere vor ihm.
